Michiana Kid’s Chorale

Michiana Kids Chorale is a multi-age homeschool choir, with our students beginning at age 5 or 6 (starting in Kindergarten).

We provide an opportunity for students to enjoy singing in a concert choir, in addition to classical composer studies, and an overall complete music appreciation course.

Our students and their families have several enrichment opportunities throughout the year to enjoy the Southwest Michigan symphony orchestra as well as The Nutcracker.

We also have fun learning to sing together!

Michiana Kids Chorale meets Thursdays from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm at Christ Chapel church on Locust Rd.

Spring 2025 Semester

Our Spring semester is 15 weeks. The semester fee is $68.00 with price breaks for multiples; an example is listed below.

First day of Class: February 6th
Spring Break: April 17th
Spring Performance: May 8th, 6:30pm

Spring Semester Fees:
- One child: $68
- Two children: $128
- Three children: $182
- Four children: $236
- Five children: $290

On-site registration for the Spring semester is January 30th, 2:00pm-3:00pm at Christ Chapel. Please park and enter on the south side.

About the teachers

We are sisters who are also former teachers. We are homeschool mamas ourselves and worship leaders at our church, Christ Chapel.

Rachelle and Leslie both grew up singing, their mom taught high school choir and led worship at church. Rachelle and Leslie were both involved in music from a young age, taking piano lessons as well as singing in school choirs and leading worship in church.

Rachelle graduated from Oral Roberts University with a Bachelor’s degree in Education. At ORU she was involved in campus music ministry. After graduating, she led worship for her church’s youth ministry and taught social studies and elementary music. Rachelle and her husband Josh are the proud parents of three children. They are youth pastors at Christ Chapel church where Rachelle also leads worship.

Leslie and her husband Brad are the Kids Ministry Directors at Christ Chapel Church. Leslie and Brad have 5 kiddos and are entering their 11th year of home education! In addition to being a home educator, Leslie taught and directed a successful early childhood education program at a local preschool. She has also taught private piano lessons and co-leads worship at Christ Chapel in South Bend.
